Thilakasakthi is an accomplished artiste who is a disciple of Mrs Saraswathy Pakiyarajah. She was awarded the title of Kala Vithakar in Sangeetham, Violin, Veena and Punn Isai by the North Ceylon Oriental Music Society after which she went on to teach music at Sri Satya Sai Baba school at Puttaparthy, India. In the UK, She teaches at the London Tamil Centre and the Harrow Tamil School as well as The Brent Tamil School. Sakthi is dedicated to impart her musical knowledge to children and adults.
